Michael J. Connelly III (B'74)
Greenwich, Conn.
Michael J. Connelly is a managing director of The Carlyle Group, a private equity firm, where he concentrates on media and telecommunication investments. He currently serves on the Board of Regents and the Business School Board of Overseers. He and his wife, Anne (C'74) reside in Greenwich, Conn., and have two children, Jennifer (F'00) and Meredith (F'04).
Denise Hyland Dangremond (C'68)
Barrington, R.I.
Denise Dangremond has been called the "heart of the class of 1968" for her efforts to help the class break Reunion attendance and annual giving records. She is an AAP interviewer and is a former member of the Board of Regents, through which she was instrumental in creating a new student gathering space Alumni Lounge. She is a career consultant and an active community volunteer. She and her husband, Bob, have two children, Erik, and Kirsten, C'02.
Tibor E. Frekko (C'55, M'59, L'63)
Darnestown, Md.
Tibor Frekko has practiced medicine in Montgomery Village, Md., for 35 years. Recently he has been joined by his three daughters, all School of Medicine graduates. He was the founding chair, along with his wife, Truda, of the School of Medicine Parents Council. He is an active Senator and a member of the Medical Alumni Board. They reside in Darnestown, Md., and have five children, Matt (L'00), Kathleen (M'00), Ann (M'00), Mary (M'02), and John.
Brian Greenspun (C'68, L'71)
Las Vegas, Nev.
Brian Greenspun is president and editor of Las Vegas Sun, Inc., which publishes the Sun-- Las Vegas's afternoon paper--magazines, and hosts a cable news channel. He is also one of Nevada's leading real estate developers. Greenspun is a Founder of Georgetown's Program for Jewish Civilization, and also has been a member of the Law Center's Leadership Council, a Reunion volunteer, and an Alumni Admissions Program interviewer. He and his wife, Myra, have one daughter, Amy.
Warren J. Heeg Jr. (B'59)
Newport Beach, Calif.
Warren J. Heeg Jr.'s life philosophy, that living well is living generously in the service of others, has guided him through heading a New York City advertising agency, owning an activewear company, and becoming a Coldwell Banker real estate agent. He was instrumental in establishing Georgetown's Career Network, which now includes 18,000 alumni, and founded the Georgetown Club of Orange County. He has two sons, Warren and Nick, and lives and works with his wife, Marilyn.
Arthur J. Murphy Jr. (C'69)
Pittsburgh, Pa.
Arthur J. Murphy Jr. has served multiple terms on the Board of Governors, Board of Regents, College Board of Advisors, and Alumni Admissions Program Board of Advisors. He teaches Public Speaking at Georgetown and is the benefactor of the Murphy Scholarship and Arthur J. Murphy, Jr. Endowed Fund for Public Speaking. A trial lawyer and founder of Murphy Taylor, L.L.C., in Pittsburgh, Pa., Murphy has two children, Brendan (C'04) and Kerry.
